As per Resolution 04-02 the District is at a Level I water shortage. This shortage is due to the extremely dry summer we have had. The following restrictions have been instituted: Until further notice 1. Water usage is for drinking, cooking, hygiene and interior household cleaning only. 2. The following are examples of uses that are NOT permitted with Cloverdale water. a. Do not water your garden. b. Do not wash your car, your house, etc. c. Do not fill wading pools or provide water for water play. d. Do not use water excessively for any reason. If you have a leak or suspect a leak in your water line you need to fix it IMMEDIATELY. The easiest way to check for a leak in your main line is to shut all water sources off in your home. Look in your meter box and see if your meter is running. Watch your meter for approximately three to four minutes, if it is moving you have a leak. Should the District move to a Level II water shortage, each household will be limited to a specific amount of water use per person per day. If this happens, the District will be checking meters daily for excessive use which can result in fines or water shut off.
